I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (New York, NY) in Feb 2020
Interview
Difficult virtual interview tough to go through it. Don’t enjoy virtual interviews at all… not much else to say about it though. j p m chase is a great company but i did not get the job offer. Would have to prepare better for future job interviews for sure. Looking forward to new opportunities in the market
I applied through university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (London, England) in May 2023
Interview
I recently went through a challenging interview process at JP Morgan, and while I didn’t expect it to be easy, the depth and intensity of the experience still stood out. From the very beginning, it was clear that the firm places a premium on intellectual rigor, market intuition, and the ability to think under pressure.
The process involved multiple rounds, starting with an initial screening before progressing to a series of technical interviews. These weren’t just routine assessments — each conversation felt more like a high-stakes problem-solving session than a typical Q&A. I was questioned deeply on areas ranging from derivatives structuring and quantitative strategy design to broader macro drivers and risk management. Even though the role I applied for was focused on commodities, I was expected to understand how my strategies would interact with other asset classes, including FX and rates.

Design a systematic strategy that captures carry in the commodity curve. Walk us through the construction logic, how you'd manage risk, and how you'd ensure it doesn’t just pick up volatility or beta to spot prices?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (New York, NY) in Apr 2015
Interview
Brief and done over phone call and telepresence. I didn't apply for the position but I was contacted by one of their recruiters upon checking my job profile online. The position seemed urgent so there was only three interviews happened: with the recruiter, the hiring manager, and the functional manager.
