      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Plano, TX) in Jan 2020

      Interview

I went in to get interviewed for a UX Design position within the company to work alongside their payments team. You get screened on your first phone call, go through your resume, your skills and experience. If you do well, they get you into phase 2 which becomes an in person interview by the Head of UX in HQ, 3 other designers via video conference from NYC, a project manager and Director of HR. Then soon after you have another interview with a Project Manager from NYC, and then you have (or are suppose to have) 2 more in person interviews on the same day with the head of UX and HR. The process wasn't bad, but timing wasn't on my side as the HR person overbooked herself on my last day of the interview, rescheduled for the following week and though I informed them that I had received an offer from another industry and informing them of it for a possible counter offer, they cancelled my last interview ON THE DAY, and told me they went with someone else. How convenient.

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at JPMorganChase

      Interview

Pretty straight forward process that included the following: 30 min recruiter call, 30 min hiring manager call that dived into background, goals, and team, and 1 hr panel presentation with cross-functional team members.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at JPMorganChase

      Interview

Setting up the initial interview was easy but the screening call with the recruiter was terrible. To start - she was 10 minutes late to the call with no explanation as to why. A few minutes into the call when I walked her through my background, she abruptly hung up the call and did not respond despite repeated calls. She then called back 10 minutes later apologizing because her day was busy. She seemed distracted and uninterested while I answered the rest of her questions. After the interview she mentioned that the hiring manager will be reaching out regarding next steps, but I never heard back even after reaching out to her several times over the next few weeks. The entire experience was very disappointing and unprofessional.

Tell me about your yourself. Why are you leaving your current position? What are your salary expectations?

I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (New York, NY) in Jan 2022

      Interview

The process takes awhile to get scheduled from the initial contact. Expectations are not entirely clear and they may offer to consider you for something that is not really in your direct field of expertise versus what you applied for.
