Absolutely awful. I applied through a LinkedIn ad for a PM position for which I have a decade of experience. I was invited to interview in-person at their main office with two higher-ups. During the interview, one of the men was rude, had absolutely no idea that there were open positions within his own company, and was openly misogynistic. To quote this guy: "Women in construction overcompensate and are (insert B-word slur here)." Absolutely outrageous that they would treat any professional that way. When I withdrew my application with HR and stated my reasons, they attempted to sweep the whole thing under the rug and gave one of the most asinine and backwards apologies imaginable. HR was obviously only focused on saving face and protecting the company. The company was recently acquired by a conglomerate of contractors and it's clear they are experiencing growing pains. Overall, totally unprofessional and an embarrassment to the profession.
