Branch manager interview / district manger -(if more than one branch hiring they will have all branch managers -so it's like a board room interview )
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan in Feb 2011
Interview
Initially applied online on their website. After about 2 days, I was contacted by a recruiter who did a telephone interview which lasted about 25 minutes. Asked me general interview questions, work history, asked to decsribe specific times I was faced with certain job-related challenges. She then scheduled me for an in person interview with a couple of district managers in 4 days from phone interview. Interviewed by 2 district managers, who then told me I would be contacted to interview at a branch. Same day the interview was set up, for the following day. Met with branch manager, offered and accepted job 4 days later.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan
Interview
You begin with a phone interview from one of the district managers. They basically try to find what your motives are, if you would work hard, and how good of a salesman you would be. Then you are told to interview at a Branch location, in which you speak with a branch manager. It's basically the same interview, but now face-to-face. Do good in those, drug test and you got the job.
