      CADP Summer Analyst Interview

      15 Jan 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (London, England) in Nov 2023

      Interview

The interview process was quite comprehensive and consisted of three rounds, each serving a distinct purpose. The initial round was a technical interview, where I was assessed on my knowledge and problem-solving skills relevant to the position. This part of the interview allowed the interviewers to delve into my technical expertise and assess how well I could apply my knowledge to real-world scenarios. Following the technical round, there were competency interviews. These sessions aimed to evaluate not only my technical skills but also my ability to work within a team, handle challenges, and communicate effectively. Competency interviews often involved questions about my past experiences, teamwork, leadership, and how I approached problem-solving in various situations. What made this interview process unique was the involvement of alumni from the firm in each round. Having different alumni interviewers provided a diverse perspective on the company culture and expectations. It allowed me to gain insights into the organization from individuals who had experienced it firsthand. The final round incorporated a pre-made presentation that I had to deliver. This presentation was designed to assess my communication skills, the depth of my industry knowledge, and my ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner. It added a practical element to the process, allowing me to showcase my ability to present and articulate ideas effectively. Overall, the multi-round structure, technical assessments, competency interviews, and the presentation element made the interview process both challenging and comprehensive. It provided a holistic view of my skills and suitability for the role while offering me a chance to interact with different perspectives within the company.

      Interview

Hireview was the first step where they asked you basic questions like "Why do you want to work for JP Morgan?" and "Why would you be a good fit for us?" The second step was a two hour introduction to HR, alumni of the CADP experience, and to talk about what it is. Superday is the last step and it was two 20 minute interviews with people who work for JPMorgan, one of mine was a VP and the other was a Senior.
