I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan in Oct 2017
Interview
Applied after the VP of cybersecurity gave a talk at my school. Had two phone interviews back to back, each lasted 30 minutes. One was more technical and one behavioral. Technical interview was more of a resume dive than a test of knowledge or skill. Questions given were extremely superficial and the interviewer recoginzed that and expressed distain for being given those questions to ask. Got an offer about a week later. Turned it down after meeting with some of their software engineers at a dinner and seeing how awful the company culture was.

Question 1
How would you engage a team member who isn't contributing?
Interviewed with VP two weeks ago, after that no response from the recruiter about the interview or next steps still following up with the recruiter no response. At least I am expecting to get a response about the interview update.
Got contacted by an hr through LinkedIn and had a call the next day, was assured that a hiring manager would contact me soon to set up an interview. Got a response from them 2 weeks later, set up an interview with the developers. Ghosted after it.
“Did the J.P. Morgan online assessment—no live interview. It was mostly logic and problem-solving questions, not typical leetcode stuff. Fairly tricky, but instructions were clear and the timing felt reasonable
