I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at J. Crew (San Antonio, TX) in Jul 2012
Interview
They called me and asked me some questions. The one that stood out is when they asked me to pitch a credit card and allowed me to make up as many benefits as possible. Then they called me in for an in-store interview. I did a typing test. They wanted to make sure I could type coherently. They asked me to pitch a cashmere sweater and they wanted me to go into detail of the material and how versatile the sweater was and during what kind of occasions I could wear the sweater.
ask you scenarios on deescalating customers and on their products. You have to sell them a product so they see how you are. there is a timed typing test as well. 6 weeks of training after 3 weeks you get on the phone
