Very easy and straightforward interview process. Applied in store with my application (no resume) needed. Followed up a week later and was able to schedule in person interview. One and done
The process took 2 days. I interviewed at J. Crew in Jun 2012
Interview
I first had to assemble outfits from the store for fictional customers with certain needs. I then had a 1:1 interview outside the store. I was told to dress as if it were my first day of work and wore mostly J. Crew. I was given a run-down of what the position would entail and what to expect.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at J. Crew (New York, NY) in Oct 2016
Interview
Interview was conducted by the manager who was very friendly and bubbly in the back of the store. Asked to tell her about myself and why I would be a good fit. Asked for my availability especially for black Friday, Christmas ve and Christmas day as well as New year's eve and New year's day. Was professional and casual at the same time. Very relaxed and felt more like a conversation than an interview.

Interview
Overall it was an easy process. The interview lasted about 30 min and it was mostly conversational with a few typical interview questions. The interview took place in the mall hallway, but was a quiet cozy corner so it never felt uncomfortable.
