A recruiter coordinated a video call directly with the hiring manager. The interview went well but not fantastically. The hiring manager said he would get back to me about next steps. He didn’t mention anything about a test. Then, I got invited to take a test which Was one of those that has way more questions than anyone could answer in the time allotted, Mostly math word problems if I recall correctly. After Nothing from anyone. I reached out twice and the recruiter said he would talk to the hiring manager but yet I still never heard back. and one of my Emails to the recruiter asking for the hiring managers email address so that I could send a thank you note. I did not get a reply to this and so I was never able to properly thank him give a quick summary of what makes me a good candidate. So overall, it was a frustrating experience that mirrors what so many other job hunters are finding.
