Applied on their website for a position with their lunar lander project. Got a phone call a couple weeks later, and was invited for an onsite soon after. Offer was made about a week after the interview. They let me know up front that this was an ambitious project and would take long hours. Sure, if you like space (as I do) and are motivated to do something big, then it could be worth it. But their offer was way below market rate (I could make $20000 more for a similar position, literally colocated in their building), and their benefits were crap. I asked for some time to consider the offer, but apparently they were miffed they I didn't simply accept it immediately and start working. They vaguely threatened me by saying I was the most qualified candidate, but they had "eight others" they were considering. And the CEO himself would not budge on salary. That was the final straw for me so I declined. I would advise applicants to be careful with this company.
