First 2 interviews with direct manager and senior manager of similar reporting lines were done via VC and telephone. The experience were decent. Friendly and understanding. Truthful and honorable folks. Questions asked are generally related to past experience, skill sets and any concerns. They were willing to answer questions genuinely pertaining to culture, work style and vision.
Problem comes with the Singapore office interview with head of business. The manager came in late. Arrogant and constantly threatening. Kept on emphasizing on how the sales are bringing in money to feed the operations and no one else is more important. Tried to portray his “down to earth” nature but in fact just simply arrogant. Impression of this firm’s culture is totally changed from this last interview. I absolutely DO NOT wish to work with this person as my leader.
