Once selected for the interview, there were two stages: the first was a 20 to 30-minute interview with HR questions, followed by a second, presumably technical, interview lasting about an hour. This second interview required preparing a 5 to 7-minute prompt on a technical topic. Then, each panel member asked two questions, which didn’t seem directly related to the presentation; in my perception, these questions were standardized. Throughout the interview, it felt like you were rushing to answer the questions, and they didn’t even give me time to introduce myself at the beginning of the interview. What made it even worse was the way the closure of the process was communicated – through an automated system message identical to the ones sent to candidates who didn’t make it to the interview stage, with no feedback provided. The decision process was supposed to take two weeks, but after only one week, I received the generic email. It felt like they already had a candidate selected before the process even started, and this was just a formality. Wasting time applying and preparing the prompt when you don't know personally to any member of the committee.
