This was a 2 part interview process for a new project the company was undertaking, I was first interviewed by their professional services executive and second interviewed by a employee of the company for which they were contracted out to. The first interview was largely for culture fit and general competencies. The second interview was largely technical focusing around object oriented knowledge and knowledge of Java as well as some simple SQL related questions. The technical portion was a little outdated, conducted using a screenshare instead of modern tools like collabedit or other online codeshare interview sites.
They run a different process for existing projects where they look to use members of the existing team working on a project to interview potential members. They've also updated to start using collabedit and streamline their process.
