Got an interview through the University virtual career fair and talking to the recruiter. Due to COVID, all interviews were done by video call. First-round was with the HR. Was asked common interview questions such as my past internship experiences, graduation date, when I am looking to start, etc. The second round was with the Principal Engineer. Was asked a lot of technical questions regarding my internship design experience. Typical residential stud and rafter sizes, how to design shear wall and diaphragms, ASCE 7 wind methods, etc. After following up a few months after the interview, I got an offer but declined due to the salary being significantly below the market value for my experience and skills. Everyone I talked to was very nice and I had an overall positive interview process.
