Applied for the position and was contacted by a recruiter to set up a phone interview. Initial screen was very standard, no curve balls. I was invited to come to the office for an on-site with the manager soon after.
Everything was pleasant and routine - no curve ball questions either, mostly about my customer service experience, what good service meant to me, etc...
Weeks went by and I never heard back. Had to find out through another source that I was no longer being considered. Kind of disappointing that they couldn't take the time to at least notify me. I don't expect a full on essay in terms of feedback or anything like that, but to not get a courtesy notification (even if it's generic) of my application status was just plain disrespectful and unprofessional. If I had stopped pursuing them or had received another offer from somewhere else, I would've taken the time to fire off a quick "thanks but no thanks" email..
