I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Instacart (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
The group interview was 1.5 hours of a powerpoint presentation on the company history and the personal shopper role. It was more of an unpaid training session than an interview. No questions were asked during this presentation. The group was then brought over to Whole Foods and led through the process of completing an order on the app. We then all split up and had to complete an order, then do role playing for what it's like to call a customer. Thought that they would screen the people at some point, but everyone was then told to head back over to the office to fill out paperwork. Even the one woman in our group who was so slow and barely knew how to use a smart phone. Strongly believe the presentation should be much shorter and done with pay after we've been offered the job.
Easy interview process including test shopping at a location. It was some time ago when I applied but I remember it being easy. It may have changed in the last couple years.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Instacart
Interview
There isn’t one they just do a background check and dmv report. I’m not sure what else to put but there is no interview for this position it is self employed
Online application process done entirely through your phone. Not so much an interview as you are self contracted, more so a background check. As expected from a position such as this
