I applied online. I interviewed at Inspira Financial (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2026
Interview
Three round process - one with a tech recruiter, one with leadership in the hiring unit, and one with senior employees in the hiring unit. All were enjoyable conversations, and I was treated with respect and professionalism at all times.

Question 1
What is dependency injection, and why would you use it?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Inspira Financial in Jan 2025
Interview
It was a 2 step process. The first was you being interviewed by a software manager of the team and the second was you being interviewed with the same manager and an another person from the team. First interview is just a behavior interview. The basic stuff. The second interview was just making sure you know the language/framework they use. I advise that even if you know other framework, you should study the exact framework they use or you would get rejected. They want someone that has exact experience and knowledge and don't give learning time.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Inspira Financial (Oak Brook, IL) in May 2025
Interview
First round: Recruiter screen. Very positive experience.
Second Round: With the hiring manager or senior director, I got the senior director. Conversation based interview with technical and behavioral questions.
Third Round: Panel Interview with one technical question, as well as a few "How do you work" style questions.

Question 1
Why do you want to work here specifically? What was the tradeoff regarding a specific technical decision. Coding question was between a Leetcode Easy and Medium, but it seemed like they actually cared about how I reasoned through the problem rather than the result.
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed interview experience! We're so glad to hear that each stage—from the recruiter screen to the panel interview—felt positive and thoughtful. It's great to know you appreciated the focus on your problem-solving approach as much as the technical result. We aim to create an engaging, fair, and human-centered hiring process, and your feedback reinforces that. We’re excited to welcome you to the team at Inspira Financial!
