The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Infosys (New York, NY)
Interview
Contacted by recruiter to apply, after doing that I was giving a hacker rank test which would be considered difficult for the position they are asking people to apply to. After I finished the test I had two interviews which were great and Interviewers were friendly. But Everytime I spoke to someone I would be asked if I was applying to a different position from what was mentioned to me. Anyway received offer which was a very low ball offer for expected work and the amount of testing one had to go through. They don't negotiate and weren't even close to my next lowest offer more than 15k less. Do not apply! Apply elseware seems like a company that just hires you as a number.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Infosys (Richardson, TX) in May 2026
Interview
There were 3 Rounds in total. First was the Screening round where they asked basic Behavioral questions, discussed salary. Next was an online assessment which involved 2 coding questions and 10 MCQ's (basic CS concepts). Last round was a technical interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Past Projects, Data Structures, Programming skills
Thorough process. Asked about accomplishments and scenario based questions. Questions about how one would handle certain scenarios and how they can reflect to working with the company
Asked about my previous experience in leadership. Nothing to do with technical expertise
Went through a screeing process then moved on to the technical interview. Felt a little unprofessional because they were late and they did not have their camera on. Took almost 2 weeks to get a result back.
