I applied online. I interviewed at InVitro Capital (Santa Ana, CA) in Jan 2026
Interview
The process involved multiple in-person rounds. After an initial delay of over two weeks with no updates and declining the initial hire, they reached out approximately four months later offering me the position as a backup candidate, stating that I had stood out.
Compensation details were never proactively disclosed until the offer was sent. The offer was delivered by a brief, generic email that appeared to be AI-generated which was consistent with most of their communication. The compensation package was significantly below market rates for the role and location, with bare-minimum benefits (meeting only legal requirements) and no company contribution toward dependents or equipment.
Initially, the role was presented as having SDR support for leads. In reality, I would be responsible for 100% of my own cold outreach with no such assistance, unlike previous Area Managers. While the commission structure was promoted as offering substantial upside (approaching or exceeding base salary), available data was only based on reps who had received lead support that is no longer provided.
When I asked for clarification on compensation, expected outreach volume, and submitting a reasonable counteroffer reflecting the increased responsibilities and market data, they didn't contact me again until they finally stated they are withdrawing the offer an moving in another direction.
Based on other reviews, this company is known to be a high-turnover company with little or no support and stability. I believe my experience supports that.

They made me prepare a pitch of a product that I was familiar with in person.

Interview
Terrible process. Started with a recruiter screening which was normal then to a call with leadership out of their Cairo office. The individual seemed almost too busy to take the interview (clearly looking at other things while I was speaking, etc) they also took a call in the middle of the video interview....this was followed by an onsite where I was to come in and present a case study. Instructions were vague and the panel was flat out rude with their questioning. They were clearly winging it when it came to hiring someone and did not care about that person. This was followed by ghosting me with 0 feedback on the interview or case study. Reached out multiple times for simple feedback to improve on my skills moving forward but was met with silence. Just a real unprofessional environment with entitled people who clearly do not care about candidates or their time. The amount of red flags the interview process alone showed was alarming.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at InVitro Capital (Cairo, Cairo Governorate) in Oct 2025
Interview
I'm not aware of the entire process. I got a task by email to build a CRAD and AI solution, and then I got a phone call for the technical interview, asking about my current responsibilities and a little technical discussion. I'm not sure if the time is one or two weeks after the task. And after a week, i got a rejection by email.
