I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Improbable (London, England) in Jun 2017
Interview
I had the same weird experience as another reviewer below - I was contacted on LinkedIn by a recruiter. He set up a phone call for me to find out more about the company and see if I'd be interested in working there.
Instead, the (different) recruiter on the call grilled me as though I was interviewing for a job there, even after I'd gently made it clear at the beginning that I had not yet applied for a role and this was an introductory phone call.
The questions were pretty probing and the recruiter typed as I responded. I answered them but obviously was completely unprepared, and unsure what aspects of my experience to present since I did not know what kind of Product role I was interviewing for.
After the grilling I got the chance to ask a couple of questions about the company. At the end asked what was next and the recruiter said they would discuss our call within the team and see what they thought of me.
I don't expect to ever hear back from them, but that experience told me everything I need to know (I've worked in the tech startup scene for a while) - I wouldn't accept an offer. It's a shame because I was interested.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Improbable in Dec 2022
Interview
Interview process consisted of 4 stages, including multi-part interviews speaking to people from different disciplines assessing actual impact made by myself in current and previous roles. Very different style and structure to what I am used to but I appreciated the rigor.

Question 1
Can you provide an example of the impact I solely had on a project and what was the outcome?
The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Improbable
Interview
Applied on-line. Got contacted by the recruiter on Skype. Interview was rather dry as recruiter was vague on the role itself. We got stopped by fire alarm on Improbable side and I have not heard from recruiter despite repeated messages.
I did not find it professional and will not want to work there.
