Interview
40 mins including presentation. You present your relevant work in the first 10 minutes and then follow the interview questions for about 25 minutes. Last 5 minutes you get to ask any questions.
Single interview process. Focus on technical questions related to position. Interviewed by future line manager checking background and suitability. Less interest in behavioural questions. No HR interview.
Interview for Research staff position varies from academic or technical staff positions.
Presentation on previous scientific research followed by questions from the panel. A second phase, general ways of working questions followed, along with the opportunity to speak to the lab without the PI. Lab and facilities tour also included.
