I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Impact Group International in Jun 2016
Interview
The interview was straight forward. Mostly get to know each other with basic question about candidate's previous experiences that could contribute to their work. Then the manager talked about their on-going project and how a employee could get to management level from entry level within a year.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Impact Group International in Nov 2011
Interview
I was called after they had seen my resume on Monster or Careerbuilder, can't really remember which one. Only after the phone call did I see I had received an email a couple hours before the phone call. I went in for a preliminary interview, the manager didn't ask too many questions, mainly chatted about the position and the company. I received a phone call at the end of the day to come back for a "2nd interview" which consisted of spending the day with a trained sales person. We drove to various businesses to sell them Quill office materials from a catalog. Most of the stops were call backs so I didn't get a feel for real business and how they managed to persuade reluctant customers. After a full day 9-6 of selling we went back to the office and I was tested over materials we talked about during lunch. Then asked questions about their interview process and how I felt about the company. It was a fairly small team (~15), commission based, unless commission was less than $300/wk.
