I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at IPSY (San Mateo, CA) in Jan 2017
Interview
Two rounds through Skype, one test and finally the on-site interviews (4-5)- all technical. The interviews had a mix of coding algorithms/data structures, machine learning and statistics. They also asked questions about your projects, etc.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Data Structures and Algorithms- Linked List, Matrix manipulation, dynamic programming, etc. (Easy/Medium from Leetcode/Hackerrank).
Machine Learning- Supervised, unsupervised algorithms, model comparison, etc.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IPSY in Mar 2019
Interview
The first round was a simple coding round with questions related to regularization, performance measures and easy level coding questions. The second round was disappointing for me as the interviewer asked me if I am interested in creating Machine Learning Models or in Testing/Deploying it. I said I am interested in the Machine Learning and then he said that I should apply for Data Science position as this position is not for me. So, I asked him that I am also interested in Testing/Deploying and he have me a coding challenge to solve which included defining functions to find Mean, Median and Mode. It was really disappointing.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked to write code for finding Mean, Median, Mode of numbers in a list in Python.

Interview
10 days after applying, received an invite to complete a coding challenge on HackerRank. The response was quick after the challenge as well. The challenge was easy, if you have complete machine learning crash course by Google you will be able to answer most of the question.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Multiple choice questions and a programming question. Questions on L1 and L2 regularization, precision and recall, feature scaling, etc.
