I was contacted for an initial interview by phone and had to answer a few basic questions about experience and motivation.
I was asked to submit an introductory (TikTok style) reel about myself and I created something to share.
Then I went for an in-person interview with the two key people at Inspire. They were very welcoming and had clearly been interviewing several people for the role. I prepared a few Powerpoint slides to talk through my extensive experience and what I could potentially bring to the role. They seemed receptive and appreciated the time I had taken to prepare for the meeting.
Sadly I wasn't offered the role . They appointed someone with more direct youth and charity experience but I was encouraged to keep in contact.
