I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at INSART (Kyiv, Kyiv) in Mar 2026
Interview
90-minute technical interview. Recorded in full by an AI tool. Interviewer explicitly said a coding exercise wasn't needed - my technical level was clear from the answers.
Then: 8 days of silence. A template rejection. Three requests for feedback. Two deflections and one non-reply.
The excuse for no feedback? The recruiter has "limited access to the AI interview assistant." The one that recorded every word of the session.
This is not an oversight. This is how they operate. The recruitment pipeline is designed to extract candidate time and give nothing back. Professional outreach at the start, complete indifference once the interview is done.
Don't mistake a polished LinkedIn message for a company that respects your time. They don't.
The technical questions were heavily skewed toward Java backend internals -HashMap implementation, heap vs stack exceptions, functional interfaces - rather than QA automation topics. Useful to know if you're preparing.

Interview
The interview took approximately one hour. It was not stressful because the interviewers were very positive. The technical questions covered the majority of my experience in the Fintech domain, as well as my previous background as a backend developer.

Question 1
Experience related to a Python developer, specifically with the web and backend parts.
It’s really frustrating when companies record interviews using AI tools - especially when a non-technical person on the screening call asks advanced technical questions just to capture your answers on video. Then the so-called hiring managers review the recording later to decide on the next steps. It feels impersonal and inefficient, not to mention uncomfortable.
