I interviewed at IMI Critical Engineering (London, England)
Interview
The interview process at this company was very poor and misleading. I was strung along and the hiring manager told me that the company was happy with remote work, as I have caring responsibilities. I was turned down at the next stage of interviews not because of skills and experience, but because I lived too far away from where the role was based. This is despite the fact that I asked at the outset whether remote work was okay, and was told I'd only need to come into the office a couple times per month, which I was able to do. The company had ample opportunity to tell me this actually wasn't true, before wasting my time with an interview. When I asked them, they originally said it was okay. I filed a complaint but no-one came back to me. Having seen other reviews online about this company, I'm pleased this one didn't work out - but other jobseekers should be aware.
