Interview
Had an HR call, and then an online aptitude and personality test. Then I received a take home coding test, for which they gave me 1 week. They said the test wouldn't take more than 5 hours.

Question 1
2 coding questions. Were pretty simple. But they really look into how you implement them

Interview
1. Take home assignment. Write a simple program
2. Video interview, 2 hours. I didn’t get to further steps, recruiter didn’t provide any feedback and just ghosted after all time spent.
They use the extremely laggy environment for live coding which actually makes one concentrate on getting used to code in it rather then to solve the actual problem
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at IMC Trading (Amsterdam) in Jan 2023
Interview
Take home test with two assignments to complete in a weekend. Next step. Face to face round with completely unrelated technical questions. As a women in tech with about 10 years experience I had applied for a senior role. A bunch of guys with about 2-3 years of experience showed up as interviewers. They had little to no idea what to ask. So they asked about build systems and input systems which is neither their nor my experience. They work in a low latency software but no questions about performance was asked. Also like literally zero questions about data structures or algorithms. It was just a bunch of male energy. They believe what they want to believe about women developers. So that was the outcome. I don’t think this company ever hired anyone women in a senior technical role. It must suck to work there as a senior women too. I hope they promote any little women they have and place some in tech interview panel. Get those insensitive biased people out of there.
