      Web Editor Interview

      19 Jul 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Kuala Lumpur
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at IKEA (Kuala Lumpur) in Jun 2018

      Interview

I was interviewing for a position in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia but since I'm currently based in Singapore, I got to visit both their offices in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (operations office) and Tampines, Singapore (HQ). There were three stages of interview: department manager, head of department and human resource. Each of them interviewed me on separate things ie. department manager was more interested in finding out if my skills and abilities is a match to the job, while interview with the head of department was more focused on the company's culture. Interview with HR is more personal in a way that she asked me a lot about my working experiences. I like the questions they asked me because all of them are very straightforward and no-nonsense. Overall, the interview was very easy and relaxing. I'd do it all over again just for the fun of it.
