Interview
I went to National Hiring Day in November 2017. After standing in line to register to speak to the interviewer we were put into groups of 3 plus the interviewer. Probably a few hundred people interviewing that day. Was told to bring our resume but during interview it was never asked for.
The interviewer asked us all the same standard interview questions. We also had to fill out an availability form and mark our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices for job openings. Interview seemed to go well.
Told we would get a call with their decision the following week. Seemed unsure if there would be a 2nd interview phase but was clear on getting a call. It has been a month and still no call. There are still open positions to this day so I'm not sure what National Hiring day was for if it wasn't to fill open positions or collect many candidates for later openings.

Pretty simple and comfortable to do. Definitely more informative as well. I enjoyed the people i conversed with too, they were so attentive and polite. All in all Ikea has some of the best mannered workers I've met.
