I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at IESO
Interview
The interview was a brief 30 minutes, covering my technical abilities, some basic scripting skills, and a few behavioral questions. It started with a short introduction and a job overview, followed by the behavioral section where the interviewers took turns asking questions.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at IESO (Toronto, ON)
Interview
I applied online. About 3 weeks later, an HR representative reached out to me via email. There was a 20 minute phone screen, followed by a 1 hour interview with the hiring manager.
The IESO interview process felt structured and professional from start to finish. It began with the initial screening and scheduling steps, where expectations were clearly communicated, and then moved into a formal interview that tested both technical understanding and how I approach problem-solving in a real workplace setting. The questions pushed me to explain my thinking, connect what I’ve learned in school to practical scenarios, and show that I can communicate clearly and work well with others. Overall, it came across as fair and well-organized—challenging enough to be meaningful, but still supportive—so by the end I felt like I had a solid opportunity to show my strengths and that the role was a good match for my skills and goals.
