Applied online and heard back from a recruiter. Screening call was fine, standard questions. From there, things got sloppy.
Took about a week and a half to hear back (recruiter said it would be a few business days) from the hiring manager. Booked time with the HM for an interview / mock demo, and the informed me they would provide me with materials to go over in preparation a few days before the meeting.
Fast forward to the night before the meeting, and I had to reach out to remind the manager I needed the materials. She was apologetic and offered to readjust our meeting, but this process was so dragged out already I just decided to stick to the time.
Had the interview with Hiring Manager and another person - information they gave me about the job was at odds with what the recruiter gave me (hours, expectations, etc), but I pressed ahead with the discovery call / demo (which the prep materials provided were very inadequate)
After the meeting, HM notified me they'd have an answer in a week. Fast forward about a month and I finally got a canned rejection email. Just a very sloppy process and it left me with a sour impression of the company.
