The whole process took about 3 weeks. I met the hiring manager and Climate Change and Sustainability Director at an on-campus career fair. We chat for 10 minutes about my interests and why I was interested in the position, as well as how the team operated. From there, I formally submitted a cover letter online. A week later I was invited to an on-site interview in D.C. I met with 6 people holding different positions - analyst, manager and director. From 8:30-12 the interview were standard and behavioral. I then went to lunch with two analysts and came back to work on a 1 hour writing test that consisted on a email draft and graph analysis. I did not hear back from anyone after two weeks. After I followed up I was informed that the position was given to someone else. I had a great hiring experience up until the end.

They were really friendly and helpful. The interview was easy to schedule and they were very communicative. The interviews weren't super technical, and I mostly talked about relevant past experiences.
