Ironically, there are normally three people in our pairing interviews; the candidate, a TW developer who will be a pair for the candidate, and a second TWer lurking ominously in the corner taking notes. Why the 3rd person, I hear you ask – because it makes it easier to take notes and give feedback from a person external to the pair.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at IBM iX (Sydney) in Sept 2023

You receive a case study and are required to prepare a pitch a few days before the interview
During the interview itself:
Introduction of self
Talking through your portfolio case studies
Case study presentation (task) to managers
Follow up questions about the case study
Do you have any questions for them
