The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at IBM in Jun 2021
Interview
5 tedious zoom interviews, in which they asked me the same questions, and I kept repeating the same answers over and over again (tell me about a project, and what are you looking for), until they rejected me after the 5th interview. I don't understand why they don't do just 1 interview with 5 of their guys at the same time if they're gonna ask the same questions, instead of wasting candidates' time like that. Also, given the fact that I was literally repeating the same things over and over again, why would they stretch it to the 5th interview to reject me? Just reject me from the 1st one and save both our times.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Only 1 technical question: find LCA in binary tree. In the rest of the 5 interviews, they kept asking me to tell them about a project I did
Took an automated online test, with some video recordings throughout. They had a video explaining their principles, and then a coding example. I was then told to give a recorded personal statement, regarding my interest in the company.
