      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at IBM (Jaipur, Rajasthan) in Oct 2018

      Interview

I applied through College Pool Drive. There were following rounds in the process - 1. First Round - It was online test round. The test was divided in two parts. First part was having 18 MCQ based Aptitude questions and time limit was 45 minutes. The first part consisted of questions on number series. In some questions it was hard to find out the next or missing number as in many questions you have to break the series in sub series of 3-4 numbers even. The second part also consisted 18 mathematical questions and time for those was also 45 minutes. Those questions involved typical calculations. Round 2 - The second round was online test round. It was based on "Business English". It was a objective kind of test. Some questions were based on Business Etiquette , some were based on business letters and communications. It was a 25 minute round and there were 20 questions. There were no passage type questions. Round -3 - It was a one hour long technical test. It consisted of 10 MCQs and 1 programming question. The MCQ questions were based on Computer Science Fundamentals , OOP concepts and some questions to find correct output of code snippet. One programming question was easy , and one can choose any programming language . The third round was not eliminating round as , everyone from third round was asked to give the fourth round. Round 4 - Fourth round was simply the technical interview round. For me it lasted for about 10-15 minutes.

      I interviewed at IBM (Bengaluru)

      Interview

First round was a language round that was conducted online. We were asked multiple simple questions in English to test our listening, speaking and reading skills. The next round was a coding assessment round. We were shown two questions of easy-medium level difficulty from the competitive coding website Hacker Rank. The 3rd round was a behavioral assessment round where we were given 5 questions and for each question we were allotted 5 mins to answer before the system automatically submits and goes to the next question. The questions were similar to "Explain about a situation where your leadership allowed for a problem to be solved" etc. The last round was the interview round where they asked both technical and non technical questions. The technical questions that were asked where from the projects we have made that were noted down on our resumes.
