I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hyland (Westlake, OH) in Jan 2019
Interview
The interview process was fairly standard but efficient. There was an initial phone screening to learn more about the general functions and scope of responsibilities for the position. After the phone screening, I was invited onsite for an interview with two of the managers I would be supporting (They have an indoor volleyball court for employees to use when they need to take a break or blow off steam. The interview took place in a room where I could see first-hand employees enjoying themselves. Smart location!). This interview was to describe my experience in more detail and learn more specifics about the job itself. Finally, I was invited back onsite for a final round of questions with the hiring manager and one of the managers I had previously spoken with in the last round to answer more behavioral based questions.
Definitely do your research about the company. Cultural fit is a key aspect of working here. The culture is highly innovative and encourages growth. Focus on process improvements you've implemented in previous roles or times you have thought outside of the box.
Overall, the process was quick (despite applying during the holiday season), the recruiters were efficient and informative, and the turnaround time was kept to a minimum. I'm very pleased with the process.
