a couple of phone interviews then I flew out for the "in-person" interview. I had 5 people to interview with 3 were great and 2 were awful.
1.The first person on the schedule had to re-schedule for later in the day. My next interview was with the hiring manager (Chief of HR), he interviewed me during his 30 minutes of lunch break in his office. The T.V was located above a small table, which he kept watching while trying to talk and eat his lunch. He asked only 1 question "what was important to me" ... i fly all the way out there for an interview and thats the best question. He finishes off by telling me there is only 1 other candidate and he is an internal guy
2. This guy rolls in after lunch and we talk for a few minutes...then...he falls asleep in mid sentence not once but 3 times, he cant stay awake for the entire interview. No joke literally in mid sentence falls asleep .... he writes down stuff on a sheet of paper he grabbed from the receptionist prior to walking in, but because he cant stay awake he is writing down the wrong things.
3. I'm told by the recruiter that it was the internal "guys job to lose" after the interview. The whole thing was a complete waste of time......very disorganized, and happy im not working for them.
