I applied online and got an email the next day for a phone interview to be scheduled within a week. After the 30 min phone interview, I was invited to an on-site interview one week later. During the on-site interview, I had 30 mins with the same HR asking me the same questions she did on the phone, 30 mins with an employee who questioned or "warned" me about their "horrible" culture. The "worst she's ever seen". I'm surprised such a person was allowed to conduct an interview and allowed to badger about the company to potential candidates. I found that highly unprofessional. Then I was interviewed as a panel for another 30 mins.
For the first hour, every question seemed unrelevant to the process. The interviewers were all new (less than 4 months) and they didn't seem to have any understanding of what was happening, what share and what not to share. They couldn't answer any of my questions because they simply didn't know the answers to them.
Still, I thanked them after the interview and they said they would let me know in a weeks time. A week later, nothing. Another week passes, they send me a follow up email saying I should hear back the next week. Eventually, I got tired of waiting, applied to another job and got the other job within a week's time. I checked my status recently and I'm apparently still under consideration - it's been 2 months. A process should not be this long. If you wait for this long, you will surely lose all your good candidates.
