Houston Metro interview questions

Awesome people and pleasant experience. Flew me done there and stayed overnight. Talked about systems and software. Used a DEC pdp computer with a console interface. Basic software skills discussed

I received an email asking for my availability. I responded with 3 different days for the following week and got no response. I thought maybe due to the holidays, things were slow. I waited then emailed again to follow up and the person said they would make their decision the next day, which I found odd. Shortly after, I get an email from Metro saying that they have moved on to other candidates. Very cruel thing to do in times like this. Very unprofessional.
