I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Honeywell (Baltimore, MD) in Oct 2013
Interview
I interviewed at a career fair. It was just me and the engineering manager. Overall I was asked about my experience and my resume. I was asked mainly psychological questions and not so much technical questions. It went well and my interviewer made me feel very comfortable. It was a pleasurable interview for me.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Honeywell
Interview
lonely - work was divided among the interns and there was little room for interaction. Mostly data-based work that you had to train yourself for. There was no formal process of training.

First submit resume and then phone interview. Someone called from the HR department to schedule a screening. Then the actual interview process took around 30 minutes. It was a one-on-one interview with an HR person.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Honeywell
Interview
Phone call was conducted with 3 or 4 managers on the line. They asked several standard interview questions. They then said they would call back with an answer. They called back the next day with an offer. The total hiring process took a while so I would recommend applying as early as possible.
