Homebase Limited Programmer and Network Planning Manager interview questions

Met the incumbent at Homebase HQ who was leaving the company in circa 3 months. The role would have been starting after he left the business. Odd no-one from HR / other function there to ensure continuity. Combination of questions on background, reason for applying & competencies. Interviewer spent most of the time commenting on the difficulties on the split from Argos and how the role was a firefight every day and nothing like the strategic / tactical role it was described as. Did nothing to sell the role or company. There was no follow up communication from Homebase - which was no great loss. Overall an extremely unprofessional interview.
