They mainly asked me to describe my background and how my previous experience relates to the role. It was a short, straightforward question focusing on my key skills and motivation.

Online application form followed by an interview with the store manager. It was a fairly casual conversation and I heard back within the next couple of weeks. Asked usual questions about why home bargains, what you know about the store, 'tell be about a time you showed X skill' etc. He made it clear they did not want a graduate who saw it as a temporary job
