Holyoke Medical Center interview questions

This was one of the most awful places I ever had the displeasure of interviewing at. My experience interviewing at Holyoke Medical Center was one of the most unprofessional and disorganized processes I’ve ever encountered. From the beginning, the interview felt chaotic. Multiple “leaders” were involved, yet none of them seemed to be on the same page. Keep in mind I had multiple interviews there for this position. The conversation jumped around, key details were inconsistent, and the overall process lacked structure. What should have been a focused clinical discussion felt more like a disorganized committee meeting where no one actually knew who was responsible for what. The most frustrating part is that they repeatedly implied that I would be offered the position. They spoke to me as if the role was essentially mine, discussed future plans, and made comments suggesting I should anticipate an offer. Based on this, I turned down other opportunities and waited in good faith. But after the interview? Nothing. Weeks passed. No updates. No decisions. No courtesy follow-up. Just complete silence. I reached out multiple times — politely — and was ignored. For an organization that presents itself as patient-centered and team-oriented, this level of unprofessionalism toward applicants is extremely disappointing. What makes it worse is that they could have easily communicated anything - a simple update, a delay, or even a straightforward rejection. Instead, they chose the most disrespectful option: ghosting a candidate after strongly indicating they would extend an offer. It shows a complete lack of respect for people’s time and careers. Overall, this process was a waste of time, energy, and professional opportunity. If this is how they treat prospective pharmacists, I can only imagine how disorganized things must be internally. Candidates deserve honesty, communication, and basic professionalism, none of which I experienced with Holyoke Medical Center.
