Once I applied, I was quick to receive an email from HR saying I had to come in for ACE testing and that I should dress for a potential interview in the case I received a satisfactory score on the test. The ACE itself took roughly an hour and asked potential scenarios of what could happen at the hospital and how I would react. Upon passing, I was scheduled an interview as it was the end of day and there was not time left for an on-spot one. Once I came back, my interview was apparently scheduled in the middle of a job fair. However, the interviewer was very nice and we connected instantly. It didn't feel like an interview after the first question -- just more of a run through of what I should expect once I work there, to make sure I would be able to handle myself, and to figure out where I would like to be placed in the hospital. I got a call a couple days later with an offer. After I accepted, lots of paperwork followed, on-boarding took two hours and a mandatory orientation is this upcoming week which will last five days long 8 am to 5 pm. Be prepared to make time for that even if the job you applied for isn't at the same time.

I arrived at the hospital on time and had to wait 30 minutes. Once I was called back, a DNP interviewed me. She wasn't interested in what I had to say, really, she just wanted bodies so they could hit state staffing requirements. She asked bland questions, made bland comments and hired me on the spot.
