Interview
Recruiter contacted me and forwarded my information. Both the recruiter and Hitachi contacted me multiple times for phone interviews, and finally scheduled a technical evaluation. This was on-site at their offices and consisted of 4 hours of troubleshooting, and repair of technical issues across Windows and Linux, as well as a programming/scripting portion.

What is something you've modified outside of it's typical use?

Interview
I met an employee at a social event, he asked me to send a resume through him (there is an employee referral program at Hitachi ID and employees get bonuses when a referral becomes a hire).
I got a phone call about 10 days after sending in my resume. Had a phone interview, an in-person interview and a technical test before getting an offer.
