I applied online. I interviewed at Hilltop Holdings (Irving, TX) in Oct 2025
Interview
One phone screening, talk with the manager, and then a call with the head of PMO. Basic questions, talked about my experience. Very conversational, not overly structured. Got an offer a few hours after the final call. Easy process

Interview Experience – Disorganized and Unprofessional
I was contacted by the recruiting team and scheduled for an interview with the hiring manager. For the first interview, the hiring manager joined approximately 20 minutes late and immediately asked me to provide solutions to an active issue within their department, without a formal introduction or overview of the role. The interview was later rescheduled a few weeks later, and that conversation went well.
I was then quickly invited to a second interview, which focused primarily on my background and experience and seemed positive. However, after the second interview, there was no follow-up communication for nearly a month.
Overall, the process felt disorganized and inconsistent, with poor communication and unclear ownership of the hiring process. While the role itself seemed interesting, the interview experience raised concerns about internal coordination and respect for candidates’ time.

Question 1
How would I be able to assist in resolving their allocation issue.
Good call with HR. Had an interview with the hiring manager. I thought it went well. I never heard back, didn't even get a rejection email. How hard is that? Very unprofessional to GHOST your candidates. At least respect the time we put in interviewing and prepping for the interviews.
