I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hexagon (Madison, AL) in Jan 2018
Interview
I interviewed for the rotational program for software analyst. I received a message from the recruiter on LinkedIn. Had an initial phone call to just hear about the positions available, after expressing interest, I was scheduled an interview for the position. The interview began with a tour of the site - beautiful and very modern by the way. It looks like it really encourages collaboration within the engineers. It really resembles college campus buildings in my opinion. Beautiful view of a lake on the back side. After the tour, I sat down with the recruiter. I wanted to save my questions for the actual interview. I was blindsided by having my interview with the VP! Which is amazing. This department is really amazing because the management is very interested in growth of employees. He was very upfront about the history of the company, and the direction that they are seeking to go in. I believe they genuinely want to get to know you and your work. Know your resume, and be honest about your work and past activities. I believe this company is going in a positive direction.
Interacted with SVP and the recruiter. No technical component aside from talking through resume. The recruiter was professional and timely. The SVP seemed to want employees who would work much more than 40+ hours, but I don't think he works there anymore.
