I applied through an employee referral. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Hewlett Packard Enterprise | HPE (San Jose, CA) in Aug 2023
Interview
1. Recruiter scheduled a 15 min recruiter call and explained the process. 2. Hiring Manager Round: Normal product sense behavioral questions and was cross questioned with a few scenarios 3. Panel Round: 45-min presentation round where I was asked to present a product I worked on as PM. Was asked multiple product sense questions on the presentation 4. C-suite round (final round) : 30-min round. This was the worst round and extremely unprofessional. Canceled the call at the last moment multiple times and finally when the interviewer joined looked like wasn't interested in hiring itself, had no idea about the role or team I'm interviewing for and asked 2 questions and closed the interview. Ghosted after this round. Very unprofessional behavior by the HR team and hiring manager. Calls are being cut and mails went unanswered. Spent total of 7 weeks in the process only to be ghosted after a very unpleasant experience.

Interview
I recently interviewed for a position at HP, and unfortunately, my experience was not positive. The interview process was disorganized and lacked clear communication. I initially felt excited about the opportunity, but the interview itself was unstructured, with some interviewers seeming unprepared and not fully familiar with my resume.
The questions were vague and didn’t align well with the role I applied for. Additionally, there were long delays between interview stages, which led to a sense of uncertainty throughout the process. It felt like they weren't as transparent or responsive as I'd hoped, which made the entire experience frustrating.
While I understand that these things can happen, I left the interview feeling that the company’s internal processes could use some improvement, especially regarding communication and organization. Overall, my experience was disappointing and not what I expected from a well-established company like HP.
