I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Hewlett Packard Enterprise | HPE (Houston, TX) in Mar 2017
Interview
Ask about skills and areas of support. Met them at the front desk, he gave a job overview and then asked me about my resume . I also asked about how many were on the team and the location of the employees. I also asked how do u get trained for the position.
Straightforward and informal. Internal move so probably easier than most. Knew the interviewer which made things more comfortable and ensured that I didn’t have tough questions. Culturally I was already a fit in the team so it made it easier for me.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Hewlett Packard Enterprise | HPE (Houston, TX)
Interview
I applied through the website, was later contacted by a recruiter for a quick phone call, was asked to type and answer questions prior to speaking to the manager twice, because she had “accidentally” sent me the wrong set of questions.
Later interviewed with the manager and never heard back. Reached out to the manager and recruiter separately two weeks later and never responded.
This is the second time I have interviewed with HPE and both times I have been ignored after the interview with the manager. This seems to be very common with HPE and I find it very surprising such good company would allow their outsourced recruiting company “Korn Ferry” to treat potential prospects like that.
