I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Hertz (Grand Junction, CO) in Sept 2025
Interview
I got an email where I responded with my continued interest in the position and my best contact number. Recruiting called the next day, explained more about the position and the hours. I asked some questions and they extended an offer at the end. I wasn't aware it was them when I answered the phone and I wasn't that aware it was an interview until after they extended the offer. The offer is contingent on background check and drug testing which they said would take 2 weeks.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked if I was qualified or saw any potential problems with various job tasks. They asked about my availability and flexibility for scheduling. The recruiter told me different tasks about the job and then would stop to ask if I had any problem with that part and then would move onto the next set of tasks.
It was very smooth and straight forward. The interview was well organized and meaningful. However, the base pay should be higher in my opinion. These days the bay area is expensive, and companies should pay their drivers more.

Question 1
If I have customer service experience and whether or not I have a driver license.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Hertz (Honolulu, HI) in Nov 2024
Interview
Interview process not good. Recruit rude and spoke to me like I am child. At first she was nice. As soon as she found out my hours won't work she became very very rude. Rushed me off phone. I will not try again in the future to work at hertz.
